Greta is a 1998 Grey TB mare by Le Merle Blanc and out of Lady Longneck. (Her registered name is Ms Lady Longneck - you can understand why we changed it!) She is 16.2 hds. Megan purchased Greta as a 4 y/o off the track, and retrained her herself. Megan pony clubbed Greta and evented her. They were schooling Training level when Greta was sold to Cameron Crews. Cameron and Greta competed at BN and N together. Through a series of events, when Cameron lost interest in riding, Megan was able to purchase Greta back. Greta had a foal for Brambleridge Farm in '05 and Megan plans to breed her again in the future. Greta has finished her first season of hunting, and is a confirmed 1st and 2nd field horse. She hunted with Bear Creek, Midland, and Rappahannock this season! |
