| Owen is a 2000, grey Connemara/Appendix cross by the famous *Grange Finn Sparrow. He made the long haul down to GA from WV with his half-sister, Taylor. Owen was originally here to be trained, to gain some experience in the show ring, and then to be sold. However, he is such a pleasure to work with and so very sweet, that we couldn't bear to part with him! Owen may be a half-bred Connemara, but he epitomizes what we look for in the Connemara breed. He's a sturdy, hardy and versatile pony. He events, does dressage, foxhunts, and trail rides. Owen's Achievements: September 2011: 7th place finish at the Preliminary level at Poplar Place Farm. June 2011: 2nd place finish at Poplar Place on their dressage score! May 2011: 2nd place finish at Chatt Hills, qualifying them for the 2011 AEC's! January 2011: Megan & Owen have bother earned Bronze Medals at Training Level with the USEA. They had a 7th placed finish at Pine Top. Dec 2010: Owen has earned a Bronze Medallion in Jumpers and in Eventing with the ACPS. October 2010: 4th Place at Chatt Hills, Owen's second Training. September 2010: 3rd Place at Poplar Place, Owen's first Training Level. September 2010: Solid outing at AEC's at Novice Level. June 2010: A repeat win at the Region IV Connemara Show, Owen takes Grand Champion half-bred for the second time! Spring 2010: Megan & Owen have both earned Bronze Medals at the Novice Level with the USEA. May 2010: 4th Place Senior Novice Division/USEA AREA III Champs at Chattahoochee Hills. March 2010: 1st Place Novice Division at Poplar Place Farm. Dec 2009: Owen earned a Bronze Medallion in Foxhunting with the ACPS, as well as a Certificate in In-Hand and in Dressage. Nov 2009: 4th Place Novice Division at Pine Top Farm. Dec 2008: Owen earned a Certificate in Foxhunting with the ACPS. May 2008: Grand Champion Half-bred in-hand at the Region IV Connemara Show. |
